How To Enable Root Account On Kali Linux(2020 version onwards)

 

 The latest Kali Linux doesn't provide the option to setup root password during installation. This means u cant access the root account. But no worries, the solution is simple.

Start up your Kali Linux and login as the non-root user. Once done, open up a terminal instance and enter the following:

• sudo su

Note:(switches user to superuser)

• passwd root

Enter the root password of your wish after the second command, and that is it. You can now log in and out of a root account on Kali Linux!!
